Steven Raisor, PhD is a retired professor of music and humanities at College of the Albemarle in
Elizabeth City, NC where he has been employed for the past 20 years. Dr. Raisor holds degrees
from Barton College (BA), Norfolk State University (MM), and The Florida State University (MM,
PhD). He is active as an instructor and as a professional guitarist.
